Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Smart Tile Calculator uses a small number of them for analytics, for advertising (Google AdSense) and for affiliate attribution. None are required to use the calculators.
Cookies we use
- Essential. Basic cookies needed for the site to load and display correctly.
- Analytics. Anonymous, aggregated measurement of which pages and calculators are used, so we know what to build next.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
The site is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info/choices. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see Google's consent message first and can accept, decline or change their choice at any time. More detail is in our privacy policy.
Affiliate cookies
When you click an Amazon product link, Amazon sets cookies to attribute any resulting purchase to this site. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon under its own privacy notice. We never receive your payment details, address or order contents — only aggregate commission reporting.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. On mobile, look under Settings → your browser → Privacy. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies does not affect any calculator: all of the math runs locally in your browser regardless.
Do Not Track
We respect browser Do Not Track signals where our analytics provider supports them.
