Privacy policy
The short version
Smart Tile Calculator has no accounts and no logins. The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are never sent to us or stored on our servers.
Information we collect
- Nothing you enter into a calculator. All calculations run locally in your browser.
- Anonymous usage data. Aggregate analytics such as page views, referring site, approximate region, device type and browser.
- Visit notifications. When you open a page, our server reads your IP address to look up an approximate city/region (via a geo-IP service) and sends a real-time visit alert to the site owner. The IP address is used for that lookup in the moment and is not stored in a database.
- Email you send us. If you contact support, we keep the message only as long as needed to answer it.
Cookies and third parties
We use analytics cookies to understand which calculators people use. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to this site — that is governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not ours. See our cookie policy for details.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal identifiers, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, ask and we will delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR or CCPA; we honour those requests.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the bottom of the page will reflect the revision.
